Touch and Hold (TAH) fob

Description

Where extended contact is needed between an iButton® and probe, the TAH keyfob is ideal. Used with our TAH capable probes, the ibutton is retained in contact with the probe by a magnet which is firmly attracted to the ferro-magnetic body of the probe. Examples of use would be in vehicle enabling systems, EPOS systems and failsafe access.

Note that these are different from our normal magnetic fobs which are attracted to a magnet in the probe. TAH fobs can be used with a variety of probes as the probe does not need a magnet.

We normally supply these keyfobs with a DS1990A identity ibutton ready attached, but other iButtons can be supplied, as required. Please contact us for a quotation.
