Magnetic TAH keyfob with DS1990A-bright red

Description

Where extended contact is needed between an iButton® and probe, the magnetic keyfob is ideal. Used with the corresponding ferro-magnetic probe, the ibutton is retained in contact with the probe by a ring magnet which is firmly attracted to the probe. Examples of use would be in vehicle enabling systems, EPOS systems and failsafe access. Do not confuse this with our other type of magnetic probe where the magnet is in the probe.

This type of magnetic iButton can be used with a probe with LED giving the advantage of being able to signal the state of the system whilst still having a touch and hold type key.

We normally supply these keyfobs with a DS1990A identity ibutton ready attached, but other iButtons can be supplied, as required. Please contact us for a quotation.
