MS - TPS - Temperature and Pressure

Description

This sensor measures temperature using a DS-2438Z with an operating range of -40°C to +85°C. It is not calibrated, but empirical data proves it to be accurate within a few degrees of actual temperature. The sensing device is partially enclosed and mounted to the rubber tubing attachment, so the time to respond to temperature change will be relatively slow. The sensor should not be placed in direct sunlight, as the radiant heat will become trapped inside the enclosure and will cause higher readings.

The MS-TPS is a pressure sensor. In addition, the MS-TPS will report the temperature of its environment.

The sensor needs 12 volts to be supplied on the cable in order to work properly. It can either be used with a LinkHub, which will supply 12 VDC via the HubPwr5, or with a MS-PWR when using a LinkUSB/LinkUSBi or a Link45/Link45i. This product is also compatible with AEM systems.
